Project Overview
The property currently sits as a 116-unit multifamily property located in Marrero, LA just outside of New
Orleans. The portfolio is split between two adjacent sites represented as St. Bakhita Apartments (100 Units ) and Building 12 (16 Units). The development was completed and placed in service in 2007 replacing the previous
public housing site that was demolished. It has been maintained as one of the top affordable housing
developments on the Westbank. VPG was able to secure site control of this property as of result of direct
marketing to the owner. The property has been stabilized and seen an annual $226,000 increase in NOI based on the implemented development plan.
