VPG is a partner in the development team behind the River District Neighborhood, a landmark $1 billion master-planned development that will transform underutilized land adjacent to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center into one of New Orleans' premier urban destinations. This generational project will deliver 900 mixed-income residential units alongside a thoughtfully curated blend of affordable and market rate housing, office space, retail, and community-oriented event space, establishing a dynamic new neighborhood with no comparable in the city.​

Within this transformative master plan, VPG is leading the development of Phase I of the multifamily component, a $130 million undertaking comprising 220 mixed-income rental units and 16,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Anchored to a nationally significant demand driver and positioned at the center of a catalytic redevelopment corridor, the project is poised to set a new benchmark for equitable, large-scale urban development in New Orleans. Financial closing is scheduled for Q3 2026, with construction to commence shortly thereafter.​
