Chambre de Honneur represents one of VPG's most distinctive value-creation stories: the conversion of a 10-bedroom boarding house into two luxury condominiums in the heart of the French Quarter. The firm served as both developer and construction manager, and the finished product went on to command a record price per square foot for the French Quarter at the time.​

VPG took on a gutted shell that had sat abandoned since Hurricane Katrina and brought it fully back to life, retrofitting the building with modern systems and amenities while reclaiming unused attic space as premium living area, a creative approach to unlocking sellable square footage within a fixed historic footprint. That combination of adaptive reuse and design ingenuity was central to achieving the project's record-setting pricing.​

VPG also sharpened returns through an opportunistic income strategy, operating the units as short-term rentals during the high-demand festival season to capture premium cash flow ahead of sale.
